Our Summer Camps feature an extensive use of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) activities to encourage imagination, exploration, innovation, and lifelong learning!  These activities:

  • Put a stop to Summer learning loss and keep children academically-engaged within a fun and exploratory setting.
  • Spark an interest in math, technology, and science.
  • Help children experience success with new challenges.
  • Increase exposure to art, music, and theater.
  • Build confidence to express creativity.
  • Reduce the achievement gap.

Learn more about the many benefits of our Summer Camps below!

Our camps feature yoga! Benefits include:

  • Developing body awareness and movement.
  • Learning how to use the body in a healthy way.
  • Managing stress through breathing techniques, peaceful meditation, and healthy movement.
  • Building focus and concentration while being in-tune with your body.
  • Increasing  flexibility, confidence, and positive self-image.
  • Inclusion in a healthy and non-competitive group.

Our Summer Camps involve a wide range of arts-based activities given that they:

  • Promote Creativity – The ability to be creative is vital to the success of our children and the well-being of our world.
  • Encourage Neural Connections – Children’s brain synapses fire away as they experiment and create.
  • Build Fine Motor Skills – Art requires increasing amounts of dexterity and coordination.
  • Serve as a Precursor to Writing – As children learn to control their scribbling, they make a wider variety of shapes and cultivate dexterity to write the alphabet.
  • Develop Problem-Solving Abilities – Art helps children become more comfortable with uncertainty and remain flexible as thinkers.
Our Summer Camps include music learning opportunities given that the study of music facilitates the learning of other subjects and enhances skills that children inevitably use in other areas. Benefits include:

  • Language Development – Music study is correlated with improved language development.
  • Increased IQ – Studies note that IQ can increase when students receive weekly music lessons.
  • Hardworking Brains – The brains of musicians (even young ones) work harder than non-musicians.
  • Spatial-Temporal Skills – There is a causal link between music and spatial intelligence.
  • Improved Test Scores – Students attending music programs scored 22 percent higher in English and 20 percent higher in math.

We’re located right off Michigan Road (also known as 421) –  1 mile from I-465 and near major retail outlets such Kroger, Target, Walgreens, and LA Fitness.

Our playgrounds feature soft landing surfaces (which cushion the impacts of falls) installed by Landscape Structure .

We like to think of our school as being in hidden view of the public eye. Large signs are NOT present on the building by design to announce that children are present. Other safety measures include a doorbell where a staff member has to physically allow visitors to enter the school. The playground is completely fenced in and hidden from public view. Finally, parents can observe the children without entering the classrooms!

Our curriculum is sensory-based and features self-directed learning through the authentic Montessori Method. This is a results-oriented program! For example, 100% of our 4 year olds read before kindergarten – usually at a first grade level or higher in Pre-K. Upon entering Pre-K, our students are often one to two grades ahead in reading or math, and sometimes both.

We hire teachers who are passionate, nurturing, educated, highly-trained, trustworthy, and can build rapport with parents.  Due to our foreign language immersion program, many of our teachers speak two languages.

Your child will be exposed to yoga, art, & music learning opportunities during our weekly camps!

Our Summer Camps feature all the components of an in-school Montessori education that our parents have come to highly value! This means that your child will experience activities which:

I am committed to give my best without rewards!

Children who are educated in Montessori schools tend to develop an innate desire to engage in an activity for enjoyment and satisfaction.

I am a confident reader!

On an academic level, Montessori provides students with skills that allow them to become independently functioning adults and lifelong learners. As students master one level of academic skills, they are able to go further and apply themselves to increasingly challenging materials across various academic disciplines. They learn to integrate new concepts, analyze data, and think critically.

I have regards for my teachers!

Montessori students normally follow internalized ground rules – whether or not people in authority are watching.

I am an innovator!

Montessori students are typically confident about their own knowledge and skill. However, they do respect the creative process of others and are willing to exchange ideas, information, talents, and credit with their peers.

I make good decisions!

Montessori children tend to be self-directed, composed, and independent.

I have an ‘I can do this’ attitude!

Children who attend Montessori schools tend to become confident and competent. As adults, they normally become quite successful. At the same time, they tend to retain the ability to learn from their mistakes and remain reflective and open-minded.

I have the ability to make change!

Montessori students are often exceptionally compassionate, empathetic, and sensitive to the natural world and the human condition. They make a difference to change the world around them by showing tolerance and kindness.

Children who play are happier and learn more
